Attempting to get that IROC blue back in the mid 80's, Steve's
hardtop was shot 6 times with Dodge Dakota brite blue metallic lacquer & with clear another 7. The original off-white
was substituted on top for a less pigmented shade. After the 194 6cyl gave up in the early 90's, it and it's 3 on-the-tree were promptly replaced by a 67 Vette's 327 backed
by a '64 Impala powerglide. Once the proper Nova PG trans setup is found to match an original '64 SS floor shifter & console,
the custom interior reconditioning will begin. Before being dropped in, the V8 was rebuilt with the standard cylinders only
honed and was given a new, RV cam. In 2007, the Holley intake & carb were replaced with more show worthy Eldelbrock equipment.
HEI does the distribution. Having learned to drive
in this, his first car, passed down from father & grandfather, Steve plans to keep it indefinitely.
